Biography of Co-Directors Rodrigo Salom Freixas & Alberto Santos González:
Alberto Santos González was born in Mexico City on October 9, 1982. A graduate of the Metropolina Autonomous University in Graphic Design, Alberto has 4 years of experience in digital animation under his belt. In 2011 he co-directed the animated short film, Máxtlitlán, which won 1st prize at the Ecofilm Festival in Mexico. In 2013 he directed the animated short El Juicio del Hombre.
Rodrigo is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. He has worked with Cosmovisual, a motion graphics company since 2007. He also worked in post-production with the Linterna de Hidrógeno animation studio. He is currently the creative director at Organika Animation Studio.
Rodrigo has worked with and produced several animated short films including: El Sentimental, official selection at the Animasivo Festival; Clean is Good, officially selected and awarded at many national and international film festivals; Legal Sacrifice, official selection at the Short Film Festival, Cut Out Fest and the Animasivo Festival. Recently, he co-directed Máxtlitlán, which won the Conagua prize at the Ecofilm Festival in Mexico.
Rodrigo intends to continue developing new projects that will link his passion for motion graphics, illustration and mapping.
