Celebrating the Importance of Bees and Beekeeping for Sustainable Development – A Discussion and Live Demonstration

Join GFDD/Funglode for a screening of the film, The Vanishing of the Bees, to be followed by a live discussion and demonstration about the importance of bees and beekeeping for sustainable development.  An extensive panel of experts including government institutions and local foundations will participate in the debate. The guests will have the opportunity to observe live bees through a demo beehive and inspect the equipment, suits, veils, and smokers used in beekeeping. Beehive-based products such as wax, pollen, honey, and propolis will also be displayed.
