ReCrearte Workshop & Cleanup Day & Urban Art Mural at Villa Consuelo

DREFF and the Narciso González Cultural Center are cleaning up Villa Consuelo! Topping off the activity with a decorative wall mural made of recycled materials collected during the cleanup, local students and volunteers from the UN Association of the Dominican Republic will beautify the neighborhood and raise awareness about sustainable waste management practices. With Bertha Santana’s motivation and creativity, the ReCrearte program coordinator, participants will learn the importance of practicing the “3Rs” of solid waste management: reduce, reuse, and recycle.
