DREFF Launches Digital Edition of a Climate Change Story for Kids
February 13, 2018The Dominican Republic Environmental Film Festival (DREFF) launched a digital edition of a climate change story for kids. The publication, titled “Why do we need to take care of the planet and how?”, (in Spanish), is aimed to children of all ages and was created to contribute in the creation of environmental consciousness and awareness.
DREFF’s intention is for all boys and girls in the Dominican Republic and abroad to know the impacts and importance of individual actions when taking care of the planet.
DREFF, an initiative of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and its sister organization in the Dominican Republic, Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (Funglode), since its creation in 2011 has been providing Dominicans with a platform of knowledge and debate on the environment and sustainable development, along with its challenges and best practices, while celebrating the unique beauty and wealth that is the Dominican Republic’s natural heritage.
