DREFF and Green Screen Trinidad & Tobago Working Together to Promote Environmental Awareness in the Caribbean
October 3, 2017The Dominican Republic Environmental Film Festival (DREFF) will join the environmental film festival of Trinidad and Tobago, Green Screen T&T, in their upcoming edition in November. Green Screen is an annual festival which brings environmental and sustainability focused films, panels, workshops and other activities to Trinidad and Tobago.
DREFF will be part of the opening night by co-hosting the screening of the Dominican film “Death by a Thousand Cuts”, on Thursday, November 2, 2017. The event will be held at the Digicel IMAX of Port of Spain.
In addition, DREFF will also be part of a film industry panel discussion following the screening of “500 Years” on November 4th, and will host the screening of “Cycles” (Ciclos), winner of the 2016 Globo Verde Dominicano Award, on November 8th.
Green Screen T&T runs November 2-10, 2017 with screenings at several venues, school screenings at IMAX, special events, and panel discussions.
DREFF and Green Screen T&T are partners and work together to promote sustainability and environmental awareness in the Caribbean.
