DREFF and Siempre Más Foundation Promote Environmental Protection
July 31, 2017SANTO DOMINGO, Through its program of Year Round Environmental Film Screenings, the Dominican Republic Environmental Film Festival (DREFF) projected the 2013 Dominican documentary “La Montaña” for young participants at the El Higüero summer camp. The activity was jointly staged in collaboration with Siempre Más Foundation, led by Karim Mella, the first Dominican mountain climber to reach the summit (twice!) of Mount Everest.
Siempre Más Foundation works with the El Higüero summer camp to offer classes and instruction on the environment and environmental protection. The DREFF joined these efforts to promote love for natural resources and spur members of Dominican youth to strive for their dreams.
