    Biography of Director Joaquin Baldwin:

    Joaquin Baldwin is a writer/director living in Los Angeles, California, with a specialization in animated films. His animated shorts Sebastian's Voodoo (2008) and Papiroflexia (2007) have earned him over 120 international awards. He was the South America winner of Pangea Day 2008, a massive event that took place worldwide and was viewed simultaneously by millions. He has received awards from the Cannes Short Film Corner, Student Academy Awards, Cinequest, USA Film Festival, Angelus, Sedona, Ashland, August Sun, The Accolade Awards, BendFilm, Cine Awards, and many others. In 2008, his film Papiroflexia was a finalist in the Cannes Short Film Corner. In 2009 he took the Cannes award in the same category with Sebastian's Voodoo. He was nominated for an Annie Award in 2008, for Sebastian's Voodoo, competing with 4 other shorts from Pixar, Disney, Plympton and Aardman.
